• MOQ 25,000
  • Glass-like Heavy Foot Base
  • Multi-Deco Capabilities
  • Mechanical and Chemical PCR Options
  • Ideal for Personal Care and Beauty
  • O.Berk is excited to announce three new moulds to its growing catalog of exclusive heavy wall PET containers, introducing the Heavy Foot family. This unique collection of heavy wall cylinders delivers on multiple fronts to include glass-like quality with enhanced rigidity, a coveted heavy foot design, and capable of the latest in sustainable manufacturing practices.

The Heavy Foot line is available in three cylindrical profiles and distinct sizes: 200ml, 8oz (240ml), and 250ml. All containers feature a 24-410 neck finish and are 100% compatible with available ABS closures and push-in-bottle-adapters in 3mm and 5mm orifice sizes.

The distinct feature of this collection is the increased concentration of PET resin residing at the base of each cylinder, giving its signature name. This concentration at the foot of the bottle creates a pronounced, heavy foot, often associated with glass bottles of the same profile. Not only is the heavy foot a visually appealing attribute, but it's a quality that you can feel in hand - a symbol of quality and luxury often coveted in the beauty and personal care markets.

Just like the rest of the exclusive collection of O.Berk's heavy wall PET containers, these cylinders are compatible with the following decoration processes:

With your initial inquiry, do not forget to ask how these deco techniques can help increase your product's shelf presence, brand recognition, and enhance the storytelling of your product's journey.

Industries across the board are moving faster than ever when embracing sustainable packaging practices. O.Berk's Heavy Foot are manufactured with the latest technologies incorporating mechanical and chemically recycled PET plastic.

    Mechanical Recycled Resin

  • Mechanically recycled resins are collected from several familiar sources, including but not limited to curbside pick-ups and plastics drop-off facilities with the intent of recycling.
  • The collected plastic can be manually sorted for the best-recyclable components, filtering out incompatible materials that can contaminate potential feedstock.
  • After undergoing rigorous washing, additional separation of materials, drying, regrinding, and blending, the finished resin is pelletized and used to manufacture the same or similar finished components. From beginning to end, the polymer structure remains intact.
  • Chemical Recycled Plastic

  • Some may call it transformational technologies, tertiary recycling, or feedstock recycling - they all refer to the popular term, chemical recycling.
  • Chemical recycling is a process that can perform the following two:
    1. Affect the formulation of a polymer by removing additives or impurities while keeping the molecular chain intact
    2. Chemical recycling can also break down a polymer into smaller components (or monomers) to entirely create the same finished or a new plastic part.

Depending on your sustainable choice, the mechanically recycled sourced resin will make up 30% of your choice of Heavy Foot cylinder, with 70% remaining virgin PET resin. If you choose to go with chemically recycled PET cylinders, these bottles are manufactured with 98.5% chemically recycled and 1.5% virgin resin. Depending on y our choice of resin - you'll still achieve a high level of clarity on par with glass.

Minimum order quantities for the Heavy Foot collection are 25,000 for bare bottles only. MOQs may vary depending on stock, custom colors, and deco options requested.
